The Field Museum is proud to announce the opening of the new North Garage!
 Museum Campus parking has never been more convenient. Located just across McFetridge Drive from the Museum, the new facility provides indoor parking for 2,500 cars. The 1,700 space Waldron Garage, just south of the stadium, also provides overflow parking for museum guests.
Both garages, as well as the Adler Planetarium parking lot, can be easily accessed via the 18th Street exit from Lake Shore Drive. Exit on 18th Street and follow 18th Street east to Museum Campus Drive and then Museum Campus Drive north to the garage entrance. Entrance to the North Garage is off Museum Campus Drive.

Visitor parking in all lots on the Museum Campus is $15.00 per day. This includes the Adler Lot, the North Garage, the Waldron Garage and the East Museum Lot.
Hours of Operation:
North Garage and Adler Planetarium Lot
5:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
East Museum Lot
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Designated handicapped parking is available in every lot.

Please note: These hours and rates are for daytime only and do not apply when special events are scheduled at the museums or Soldier Field. For special event parking or during museum events, please contact the host museum directly.
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, those wishing to park in Museum Campus lots will be required to pay for parking at the time of entry. Only cash payments will be accepted.
The Field Museum is located near Soldier Field (home of the NFL's Chicago Bears), the Charter One Pavilion, and Grant Park, a major event venue in the city. Events at one or more of these locations can impact traffic to and from the Campus. Valet parking now available!
For the convenience of our guests, the Field Museum will be offering valet parking service on Saturday, January 19th, and Sunday, January 20th, at the Museum's south entrance for a fee of $25.
Guests will pay for the service at the time they purchase tickets for admission to the Museum. Please present your paid receipt and vehicle claim ticket to the attendant upon departure.
Bears Home Game Days
During Bears home games and other major special events at Soldier Field, access to the Museum Campus can be challenging. No museum visitor parking is available on the Museum Campus during Bears home games. However, public transit remains a great way to get to the Campus every day of the year.
