Anthropology Alliance | Field Associates | President's Leadership Council Anthropology Alliance The Anthropology Alliance exists to promote interest in, and support for, the Museum’s Anthropology Department. Because only one percent of the 1.5 million cultural artifacts in the collection can be on display at any given time, joining the Anthropology Alliance gives you access to hidden treasures that most will never see. Top The Field Associates The Field Associates is an exciting membership organization comprised of young professionals from diverse backgrounds with a shared interest in learning and promoting awareness of The Field Museum's collections, research and public programs. A wide variety of programs at the Museum and around the city offer an insider's view of the wide range of work that takes place at the Museum and by our scientists around the globe. Requirements for Field Associates Membership: One must be a member of the Museum. One must pay $100 dues annually, which provides benefits for two adults to attend each program. Top President's Leadership Council The President's Leadership Council (PLC) is an auxiliary group of new generation leaders created in 2007 to advance the Museum's educational mission through financial support, volunteer leadership, and advocacy. Upcoming Event: The Field Trip: Twilight on the Terrace Wednesday, August 19, 2009 Beginning at 6:30 p.m. What could be better than spending a warm summer evening with friends on Chicago’s lakefront? Join The Field Museum President’s Leadership Council for cocktails and the breathtaking view from The Field Museum’s Northeast Terrace. The event culminates with the city of Chicago fireworks off Navy Pier at 9:30 p.m. Proceeds from this event benefit education programs at The Field Museum. Tickets are available for $75 per person.
